A little about Redstone, Colorado…
Suffice it to say that there aren’t many towns out there like Redstone, Colorado. It’s a tiny mountain village tucked in the shadow of some massive redstone cliffs. It’s a historic mining town that is worth a visit if you are in this part of the country.
The sign on at the edge of town says that 92 people live here. But it’s a community with a lot of personality. In the fall, the town puts on a “Grand Illumination” where Redstone Boulevard is lined with luminaries and people come from all around to get that quintessential small-town experience. It’s a bit like walking back in time. In the summer, the town comes together again for its annual Fourth of July parade. Needless to say, the population of Redstone balloons well past 92 during these and other community events during the year. Learn more about Redstone here.
